1949-2012

Johnny Belinda Henry passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 12 days. She was born March 20, 1949, in San Antonio, the daughter of John and Peggy King. She was a former resident of San Antonio and a resident of La Vernia for eight months.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, John Conover; one sister; and one brother.

Johnny is survived by her son, Leen Basett of Montana; her sisters, Adele Evans King of La Vernia, MonLiza King of Nacogdoches, and JoAnn Higdon of La Vernia; her brothers, Norman King of San Antonio, Willie King of San Antonio, James King of St. Hedwig, and Joseph C. King of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, at 11 a.m. in the Sutherland Springs Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, with the Rev. Frank Pomeroy officiating.
