Court St. Ann Mother of Mary of La Vernia’s St. Ann Church received its charter as a newly formed court of Catholic Daughters of the Americas from District Deputy No. 13 Lydia Martinez of Floresville at its monthly meeting Jan. 12.

Officers are Regent Mary Mainz, Vice Regent Olga Bruce, Secretary Pamela Wilson, Financial Secretary Linda Steele, and Treasurer Janice McMahon.

The court successfully completed its first service project by delivering bags of personal items and other gifts, such as socks, to the residents of the Country Care Manor in La Vernia in December.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. New members are welcome.
