ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Guadalupe Courvier passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 4 days. She was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Floresville, the daughter of Victor and Juanita Sendejo. She was a lifelong resident of Floresville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eva Estrada; and her brother, David Sendejo.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband, Fernando Courvier of Floresville; her daughters, Betty Rosas and husband Gabriel of Floresville, Mary Francis Courvier of Floresville, and Anna M. Courvier of Floresville; her sisters, Victoria Ramos and Stella Borjon, both of Floresville; her brothers, Daniel Sendejo, Victor Sendejo, and Alexander Sendejo, all of Floresville; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated after the rosary, with the Rev. Phil Henning officiating.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
