Victoria Jane Montoya, 54, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away in her home Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Victoria was born July 23, 1957, in Floresville, the daughter of Pablo and Natividad Montoya.

Victoria was dedicated to her passion for the culinary industry and worked the last 19 years at the Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk as a sous chef.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Victoria is survived by her partner, Adriana Netro; her sister, Manuelita Montoya; her brother, Pablo Montoya Jr.; her sister-in-law, Margaret Montoya; her niece, Nadie Hernandez; her nephew, Joseph Gabriel Valadez; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, at 3 p.m. in the Castle Ridge Mortuary in San Antonio.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 5 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.
