James “Corky” Victor Scaramozi Jr., 70, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. He was born Dec. 28, 1941, the son of Evelyn and James Scaramozi Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

James is survived by his wife, Olivia (Laskowski) Scaramozi of Kosciusko; his sister, Thelma Louise Mosley of Carlsbad, N.M.; his sisters-in-law, Emily Broll, Dorothy Yanta and husband Martin, and Pat Verstraeten and husband Richard; brothers-in-law Esibius Laskowski and Felix Laskowski and wife Genevive; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 6-8 pm. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the church with Father Wojciech Pelczarski officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery in Kosciusko, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be given by way of Mass cards.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Neugebauer, Kenneth Pawlek, Brian Yanta, Jordan Hasek, Mark Jarzombek, Kenneth Darr, Wayne Laskowski, and Carol Kolodziej.
