Letter: Back to the future?
Shall we go back to the future, on that path of destruction that we were on for the past 40 years, led by our radical liberal friends in Congress whose motto was and still is, “You dish it; we’ll spend it”?
Can we afford that bridge to the future that President Bill Clinton once promised during the 1990s? Can we continue to support Obama’s “hope and change” at the cost of our children’s and grandchildren’s future?
We are not just talking economics, but much more; we are talking about the battle for the heart and soul of our country, the institution of the family as we know it, and our God-given freedoms protected by our Constitution, such as freedom of speech, religion, and private property.
Reality is that Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama are radical liberals.
No matter how moderate, compassionate, and caring they may seem, a liberal is a liberal is a liberal. The packaging may change on the outside, but it’s the inside that counts. It’s their actions, not their “clean and articulate,” mesmerizing speeches that count.
How quickly we forget! The Democrat Party gave us the highest tax increases in history, the highest deficit, highest government spending, highest unemployment, more big-government regulations and bureaucracy, gays in the military, anti-traditional marriage, abortion on demand up to the ninth month of pregnancy, Infant Born Alive Bill (infanticide), condoms and sex education in our schools from pre-K to high school, abortion pill RU-486, and fetal tissue research, to name a few.
And lest we forget to mention -- mandated universal health care -- Obamacare!
No balanced budget, no smaller government, no tax cuts, no welfare reform, no term limits, no new jobs, no oil drilling, just the status quo: arrogance, incompetence, and failure!
