STTR trail ride, meeting

The general membership meeting and election trail ride of the South Texas Trail Riders is set for Friday through Sunday, March 9-11, at the Wilson County Show Barn, located off S.H. 97 east of Floresville.

Registration begins Friday at 4 p.m., followed by supper prepared by the Floresville Boys at 6 p.m.

There is no charge for current members, $20 per person for non-members. Negative Coggins paperwork is required.

A cattle call for the trail ride is set for Saturday at 7 a.m. with riders set to ride out at 9 a.m. The night will conclude with a dance at 8 p.m., with music by “Whiskey Bent.” The public is invited, with dance admission at $7 per person.

The general membership meeting will be held Sunday at 10 a.m.
