This is not an ideological question at all. It affects all Americans regardless of politcial views.

Ms. Turner wrote an informative commentary that should be taken seriously by all. But, she didn't go on to tell folks about what Paul Harvey used to say ... "now for page 2, the rest of the story".

In the Affordable Care Bill (ObamaCare), on page 41, the Health Choices Commission is established. Subtitle E relates to its governance over all health care plans for all Americans and all manufacturers of health care devices as well as all pharmaceutical companies. This will be a new agency strictly under the direction of the president alone. He will choose a Health Choices Commissioner as well as those to serve on a board underneath him. Their sole job is to establish what benefits are necessary and what private insurance companies will be permitted to offer. It mandates the qualifying plan standards and benefits private corporations will be permitted, by law, to offer.

On page 44 ObamaCare goes on to present the remedies that will be used to bring those who do not cooperate in line with the law. Section (A) There will be monetary penalties for those who do not comply to the government standards as stated, and Section B Suspension of enrollment of individuals under such a plan. In other words, if you work in a private company with health care benefits, and the benefits are not in compliance with the government standards as set by the commission, you will lose your insurance until such time your company comes into compliance by offering an inferior benefits government sanctioned plan. It's designed to have all employees insured under some type of government plan that ensures their dependence on the government for the rest of their lives.

Section E goes on to say that any manufacturer of devices or medicines are prohibited from advertising their products if they have been fined during a year for a failure to report or improper or false reporting as determined by the Health Choice Administrator.

On page 856 of the Affordable Care Act law, in Section 2201, a National Health Services Corps is established. But that's another topic for another day.

Since you have not bothered to read the entire 2,600 pages of ObamaCare, let alone even the first 50 pages, you are simply too ignorant on this subject to even render a rational opinion. What I gave you is not from a right wing newspaper or blog ... it's directly from your president's law and affects far lefts and far rights equally. It would help you a lot to go read the entire bill and really understand what's in it. Until then, perhaps you should follow Abraham Lincoln's advice when he said, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt".
