National Park Service seeks input on local historic trails
The National Park Service, in partnership with the San Antonio River Authority, is conducting a feasibility study to identify potential ways to connect sites and routes associated with El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail (El Camino Real) to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park between Mission Espada and Rancho de las Cabras.
The results of this study will incorporate routes and opportunities identified as preferred by the surrounding community members and partner organizations through an open civic engagement process.
Public input is requested to identify enhancements to public health, recreation, resource protection, and other community social and economic benefits.
To learn more about the project and to provide your input, join any of the meetings below:
•Monday, March 12, from 5-6:30 p.m. in St. Anthony’s Church Parish Hall at 16505 Kilowatt Road in Elmendorf
