Chelsey Kay Stulting and Clayton Wilfred Wiatrek were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Father Stuart Juleen.

Allison Haby, cousin of the groom, was vocalist for the ceremony, accompanied by Mary Ann Brysch on the organ. The liturgy was read by Mary Jane Janysek, aunt and godmother of the groom, and Merrill Moy, uncle and godfather of the bride. Offertory gifts were presented by Melinda Stulting and Sally Wiatrek, mothers of the bride and groom. Altar servers were Jacob Janysek and Blake Janysek, cousins of the groom.

Chelsey is the daughter of Howard and Melinda Stulting of Karnes City, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stulting, formerly of Karnes City, and Celia Moy of Karnes City and the late Leon Moy. Clayton is the son of Wilfred “Willa” and Sally Wiatrek of Falls City. He is the grandson of Leo and Irene Moczygemba of Hobson and the late Thomas and Elizabeth Wiatrek, formerly of Cestohowa.

Rene Trice, friend of the bride, was Chelsey’s maid of honor. Her cousin, Rachelle Zoeller, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Janna Lott, Ashley Parker, Kelly Waclawczyk, Ashley Black, Allison Rudolph, Kristin Jurgajtis, Megan Capeheart, and Madi Arciba, all friends of the bride. Attending as junior bridesmaid was Maura Jones, cousin of the bride. Madison Starry, niece of the groom, and Abilene Arnold, cousin of the bride, were flower girls.

Luke Wiatrek was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen included Matt Wiatrek and Dustin Wiatrek, brothers of the groom; Nick Hudek, R.J. Harris, Kurt Kainer, and Clay Kasprzyk, all college friends of the groom; Joe Theis and Bradley Olinick, friends of the groom; and Blaise Moy, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Ryan Black and Travis Black, friends of the bride. Honorary groomsman was Lance Cpl. Trey Malone, friend of the groom. Ushers were Luke Mynier, cousin of the bride, and Chase Stulting, brother of the bride.

The reception, dinner, and dance were held in the Falls City Community Hall. A delicious meal, consisting of pork roast, pit potatoes, green beans, and all the trimmings, was catered by Randy Ortmann of Falls City.

Ernest and Aileen Jendrusch led the bridal party and guests in the traditional Grand March, which began the evening of dancing. Music for the happy occasion was provided by DJ Gil of San Antonio.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominion Republic, and are now residing in New Braunfels.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party and immediate family and friends at the Falls City Diner the evening before the wedding. The menu consisted of King Ranch Casserole, garden salad, and garlic bread, which was prepared and served by Outlaw Catering (Duane Korzekwa) of Floresville.
