1914-2012

Pauline R. Bryan, 97, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012. She was born April 27, 1914, the daughter of Vicente and Concepcion Rodriguez, in Stockdale, Texas.

Pauline was a florist for many years at Sheldons, Jeanettes, and Curries. She was also a homemaker.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis W. Bryan; six sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Benedict L. Bryan Sr. of Baltimore, Md., and Thomas W. Bryan and wife Wendy of Austin; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joventina Gonzales of San Antonio and Belen Denecamp of Stockdale; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 4, from 5-9 p.m. in the Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Chapel in Corpus Christi, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the Christ The King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.

Interment followed in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
