Letter: Thank the millionaires
The “occupiers” will never get what they want because they are too lazy to understand and embrace fundamental capitalism -- 80-hour work weeks.
Even on minimum wage, one can survive working this hard. Capitalism rewards this level of dedication by moving it up the pay scale. He who has not the ambition to earn for himself has not the wherewithal to keep what is given to him. It gets frittered away, leaving the recipient with a desperate dependency on ever-larger doses of entitlement injections. Instead of finding work, he mocks, destroys, and defecates on what someone else has built.
The institution he denigrates provides his clothes, food, transportation, and everything else that sustains life. Go to “Help Wanted” to get a good start on a real job. Maybe there are some unemployed for legitimate reasons. Blame that on a stupid government intent on choking the life out of free enterprise by its asinine “redistribution” policies. These policies lead to a society where there are more takers than givers. Soon nobody has anything.
Capitalists work all the time. When floating around in their yachts they are thinking of ways to provide more customer service. Many sleepless nights are spent devising methods to keep an oppressive government from stealing everything he has and giving it to the “undeserved.” There is no success without the price of success.
God Bless America and her entrepreneurial geniuses. Without them, we would all be wandering around looking for berries, bats, and bugs. Have you hugged a millionaire today?
