The La Vernia Historical Association invites the community to its 10-year anniversary celebration Sunday, March 18, from noon to 3 p.m. at the La Vernia Heritage Museum located in the old firehouse building on U.S. 87 at Bluebonnet Street.

The festivities will include refreshments, cake, and music by popular fiddler Gary Pursley.

Attendees can have their picture taken at the museum for the association’s scrapbook, and sign the anniversary card, which will be placed in a time capsule inside the bell pedestal to be dedicated this year.

For more information, call 830-947-3194 or visit www.laverniahistory.com.
