Jeff and Diane Pawlik of St. Hedwig, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy, to Herman Doege, the son of Royce and Christine Doege of La Vernia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alex and Margaret Dzierzanowski of St. Hedwig, and Mary Rose Pawlik of San Antonio and the late Rudy Pawlik Sr.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Kenneth and Frances Sprabary of La Vernia, and Herman and Betty Doege of La Vernia.

Amy, a 2004 graduate of East Central High School, is a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University-San Antonio, with a degree in business management. She is currently employed with the city of San Antonio.

Herman, a 2001 graduate of La Vernia High School, is a 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He is currently employed by H-E-B.

A spring 2012 wedding is planned on the beach at Rockport, Texas.
