FLORESVILLE -- The Floresville Event Center is the place to be Saturday and Sunday, March 17-18!

The center will burst into bloom with the second annual Floresville Home & Garden Show. This year’s event promises to be bigger than the inaugural event in 2011.

Vendors will offer gardening items and products, including pottery, water fountains, stepping stones, pool materials, yard décor, and more. In addition,

home décor, candles, accessories, and gifts will be available for viewing and purchase. Homebuilders will be on hand, offering plans for your new home, or to discuss remodeling ideas.

In addition, Drama Kids International students will participate. The show also will include children’s activities.

Robar Construction will hold a fund-raiser for the Wilson Area Housing Foundation. The prize is a playhouse, built by Robar for this event.

If you have projects under way or in the planning stages, get tips on electricity, grass planting, flooring, and more.

The event will include demonstrations on both days. A schedule will be posted at the event center.

The Floresville Home & Garden Show takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7, and covers both days. Children under 10 will be admitted free of charge.

The Floresville Event Center is located at 600 S.H. 97 W., near the Floresville River Park.

For more information, call Diana Garza at 210-645-0609 or Lori Roe at 210-861-7723.
