FORT WORTH -- East Central FFA steer exhibitors traveled to the Fort Worth Stock Show. The first Fort Worth Stock Show took place in March of 1896, on the banks of Marine Creek in North Fort Worth, making the Fort Worth Stock Show one of the oldest livestock shows in the country. Once known as the Texas Fat Stock Show, today this event is known as one of the most difficult shows in the country. A trio of East Central FFA exhibitors were named among the top 10 during the show held in late January and early February. . . .
