Alvin and Dianna Kowalik of Selma, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jana Lynn, to Jason Dillon “J.D.” Hain, the son of Dennis and Cindy Hain of Pattison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Harry and Lorine Haby, formerly of Hondo, and the late Felix and Bernice Kowalik, formerly of San Antonio.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Shirley Arriola of Langhorne, Pa., and the late Wayne “Woody” Woodland, and Dolores Hain of Croydon, Pa., and the late George Hain.

Jana is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in chemical engineering. She is employed as a lead instrument and controls engineer at SBM Offshore in Houston.

J.D. is employed as an installer/technician at Prime Controls in Houston.

A May 2012 wedding is planned in Selma, Texas.
