Abundant Life Pentecostal Church/Brahm French Ministries based in Seguin will hold a barbecue plate fund-raiser on Saturday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grandma’s House Day Care in La Vernia.

Proceeds will benefit Donna Offer, to help offset funeral costs for her son, Phierson, who is not expected to live long after birth, due to serious gestational defects. As yet unborn, he has been diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis; his little body and kidneys have failed to develop fully.

Barbecued chicken, rice, beans, and bread plates will be available for $8. Sausage wraps will be available in the morning for $2 each.

Donations also may be made to Catherine Skrobarcek at Nixon State Bank, in honor of the Phierson Love Fund. Donations can be made at the bank or mailed to Nixon State Bank, P.O. Box 730, La Vernia, TX 78121. Call them at 830-253-8808.

For more information, call Skrobarcek at 210-854-1200.
