Editor:

To rebuke U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s hollow argument that poor Texans do not have photo ID driver licenses, and thus cannot vote in Texas, I learned that the Texas Department of Public Safety does issue photo ID cards at a cost of $16, $6 to persons over age 65. . . .

Sounds a lot like a poll tax...there are a number of Texas counties that do not have DPS offices....No problem.....Just let them drive 100 miles....By the way, the new voter law requires DPS to issue Election Certificates... More ›
