Primitive Baptist Church to dedicate new building

The congregation of the La Vernia Primitive Baptist Church invites everyone to attend the dedication of the new church building on Saturday, March 31, and Sunday, April 1. The church has been rebuilt following the fire that devastated the historic building in October 2010.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. March 31 with singing, followed by afternoon services at 2 p.m. Sunday morning services will be at 10:30 a.m., with a special dedication service at 2 p.m., beginning with singing.

“We invite the community to come see the finished building and enjoy the dedication service with us,” said Pastor Larry Hausenfluke. “The Lord has blessed us to complete the project, and all the input from this community has been very instrumental in this being completed. We do thank each of you for your help in getting this done. May the Lord bless us, and each of you, as we dedicate this facility to His honor, and the use by the community in the years to come.”

Community members are welcome to visit the church anytime, but are particularly invited to attend the dedication services.

Worship services at the La Vernia Primitive Baptist Church are on the first and third Sundays of each month, with singing at 10:30 a.m. and preaching at 11 a.m. Lunch follows the services.
