Rene and Emma Saenz of George West, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley, to John Hons, the son of Kirby and Judy Hons of Hobson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Antonio and Tomasita Figueroa, and Adan Saenz and the late Lydia Saenz.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lorraine Chandler of Hobson and the late Sidney Chandler, and Louis Hons of Hobson and the late Dorothy Hons.

Ashley is a 2007 graduate of George West High School.

John is a 2003 graduate of Karnes City High School.

The couple plan to wed Saturday, April 7, 2012, in the George West Worship Center in George West, Texas.
