MusicFest coming soon to La Vernia
Grammy nominee Joe Posada will entertain at the La Vernia MusicFest April 14.
The La Vernia Foundation for the Arts will host several music artists at the La Vernia MusicFest Saturday, April 14, from 3-10 p.m. at the La Vernia City Park on San Antonio Road and Warren Street.
The musical event will include Grammy-nominated artist Joe Posada, along with Rusty Martin & Dr. G., and Johnny P. & “The Wiseguys.” In addition to jazz, blues, and crooners, music fans will enjoy delicious food by Tapa Tapa, Lagniappe Today, Rolling Pig, and Guilty Pleasures food trucks.
Wine, beer, and gourmet coffee will also be available, offered by Cowgirls Unlimited and The Daily Grind. No outside food or drink will be permitted. Visitors are welcome to take blankets or lawn chairs, and parking is free.
Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door and are available at The Music Loft and La Vernia News, both in La Vernia, and Wilson County News in Floresville. Children 12 and under will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
