SAN ANTONIO -- Members of the Floresville Police Officers Association will host their seventh annual Catfish Tournament Saturday, March 31, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Calaveras Lake.

Teams are encouraged to sign up early, and entry forms are available at the Floresville Police Department. The entry fee is $125 for a team of up to four members.

On the day of the event, all teams must register in person from 5-7 a.m. and live wells and ice chests will be subject to inspection. At the tournament’s conclusion, all teams and their 25-fish limit must be in the weigh-in line by 3 p.m.

Following the weigh-ins, a barbecue lunch will be provided to all participants, and door prizes will be given away as well. Tournament winners will be announced, and cash prizes will be awarded to those finishing in the top five.

For more information, call George Ortiz at 210-663-1179.
