CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Mary Jacquelyn Moore passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 23 days. She was born Nov. 4, 1949, in Kenedy, the daughter of George and Annie Andrisek Smolik.

Mary, formerly of Karnes City, was a Floresville resident for the past 10 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville and the Legion of Mary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Moore, and her mother.

Mary is survived by her father, George Smolik of Karnes City; her sons, Jonathan Moore of Floresville and Nathan Moore of Karnes City; her sisters, Georgia Martin of North Carolina and Sandra Jendrusch of La Vernia; and her nieces and nephews.

A rosary was recited Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, with the Rev. Phil Henning as celebrant.

Interment followed in the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville.

Serving as pallbearers were Callen Jendrusch, Jonathan Moore, Nathan Moore, and Bill Martin.
