Jesse B. DeHoyos, 62, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012. He was born Oct. 15, 1949, to Pablo and Brijida (Burciaga) DeHoyos.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and six brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Jane (Montalvo) DeHoyos; his daughters, Rachel DeHoyos and Brijida Mabee and husband Tommy; his son, Frank DeHoyos and wife Veronique; his grandchildren, Amberly, Alyxson, Amanda, Nathaniel, and Alicia; his brothers, Jose DeHoyos and wife Dominga, Guillermo DeHoyos and wife Angie, and Arturo DeHoyos and wife Adelfa; his sisters, Elvira Silva, Beatriz Sanchez, Anita Castellano and husband Alvino, Clara Garza, and Mary Lou Gonzales and husband Eddie; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family.

A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 4, at 10:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth, with Father G. Szewczyk officiating.

An interment of the urn will follow in the Blessed Sacrament Parish Cemetery in Poth.
