Wayne Knight, 62, a native of Robertsdale, Ala., and resident of Floresville, Texas, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, after a battle with cancer in San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane; and his grandparents, Buster and Lois Willis and U.V. and Edna Knight.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his parents, Don and Jane Knight; his children, Shane Knight and wife Denise and Kacey Knight; three stepdaughters, Codie, Destiny, and Tanna Rutherford; five grandchildren, Hannah and Rebeka Knight, Megan and Matthew Alvarado, and Makenzi Knight; his brother, Mike Knight and wife Stella; his nephews, Michael and James Knight; and his Aunt Nez and other relatives.

No funeral service was held.
