City of Floresville cleanup April 14
Need to do some spring cleaning? The city of Floresville will hold a City Cleanup Saturday, April 14, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Acceptable items include: yard waste, metal, general trash, wood, and brush. Wood and brush cannot exceed 48 inches in length or more than 50 pounds. All wood and brush must be tied, cut, and bundled.
Air conditioners, refrigerators, and other items containing Freon must be tagged by a certified technician stating Freon has been removed in accordance with government recovery standards. Removal of the compressor is not an exception to this rule. Items without proper certification will not be accepted.
•Any liquids including paint, oil, grease, household chemicals, and cleaning supplies.
•Hazardous materials of any kind including chlorine, fertilizers, batteries, or any other chemical mixture.
•Aerosol cans, air tanks, propane tanks, or any other item designed to and/or holding products under pressure.
•Tires, batteries, rock(s), dirt, and concrete.
•Construction or demolition debris.
•Items too large or too heavy to be safely compacted into the truck body, including boats, cars, engines, etc.
•Any item or items deemed to create a hazard to employees or that would violate landfill acceptance rules.
City of Floresville water bill and ID will be required upon dropoff.
