Rose Billings Balfour of Floresville, Texas, is proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Lisa Billings, to Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan Michael Greenbauer, the son of Douglas and Denise Greenbauer of Grand Rapids, Mich.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Luz and Jesus Villarreal of Uvalde. Lisa is a graduate of Floresville High School and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. She currently attends Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where she will obtain a Master of Education. Lisa is the theatre arts director for grades kinder through eight at the Martin Luther King Academy.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Nancy and Michael Greenbauer Sr. of Grand Ledge, Mich. He is a graduate of Kelloggsville High School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from the American Military University. Ryan serves in the U.S. Navy.

The couple will wed on Saturday, April 14, 2012, in the Floresville Event Center in Floresville, Texas, with the Rev. Anna Martinez officiating.
