Members of the La Vernia Foundation for the Arts met March 27 at the La Vernia City Park to discuss details for the first annual La Vernia MusicFest, which is set for Saturday, April 14, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Founding members are Randy and Terrie Leonard, Wes Ashburn, Dave Jagge, Brad Beck, Heath Cover, and Elaine Stephens. Advance tickets are on sale now for $8 at the La Vernia News office and at the Music Loft. Tickets will be $10 at the gate.  . . .
