Missing: Male Chihuahua, black/gray/white, named Spy, possibly missing from F.M. 775 around Vintage Oaks Subdivision and Woodlands area, Sat., Sept. 26 about 10 p.m. 830-391-5055. 
Found: 2 brindle cows, on Sept. 12, at the end of La Gura Rd. in South Bexar County, located between South Loop 1604 and the San Antonio River, Gillett Rd. on east and Schultz Rd. on the west. Call after 8 p.m., 210-310-9206.
Found: Male MinPin?, about 2 years old, not fixed, sweet, very smart, on Sept. 25 inside Floresville Walmart, healthy, no fleas, clean teeth, manicured nails, will keep if owner not found. 830-542-0280.

Stockdale tennis continues tournament play

STOCKDALE -- The Stockdale High School tennis teams participated in the Stockdale junior varsity tournament March 20 and the Marion varsity boys and girls tournament March 22-23.

During the Stockdale junior varsity tournament, Tristan Marquez and Anthony Bennett finished in first place in boys doubles. In the girls doubles division, Katarina Wehmeyer and Shelley Oltmanns won their first two rounds, and by a narrow margin, missed advancing to the semifinal round.

At the Marion varsity tournament, Jordan Jackson finished as the boys singles champion. Kristen Salazar finished in second place in the girls singles division. Lauryn Coston advanced to the second round of singles play.

Landon Coston and Kelson Alderman placed third in the boys doubles, while Patrick Washburn and Dylan Dunn placed fourth in boys doubles. Jessica Puente and Jacob Cardenas participated in the first round of the main draw and the first round of the consolation division in mixed doubles.

On March 24, the Stockdale Junior High School tennis team participated in the Stockdale junior high tennis tournament.

Joel Marquez finished in first place in the seventh-grade boys singles division. Joshua Rangel finished in second place, while Nicholas Scriven finished in third.

In the eighth-grade boys singles division, Travis Covington finished in third place, and Samuel Scriven finished in fourth.
