FLORESVILLE -- The Floresville Youth Basketball Association held its first Spring Tournament March 24-25 for the 11/12-year-old age group.

The double-elimination tournament featured 18 games throughout the weekend, with teams playing between two and six games each.

In the girls divisions, the Ballerz finished first, followed by Terminators in second place and the Bulldogs in third.

On the boys side, the Hoosiers took home first-place honors, followed by the Elites in second place and the All Stars in third.

All participating players received a tournament T-shirt, and each of the teams that placed in the top three spots walked away with a trophy.

Event coordinators sent a “thank you” to the community leaders that sponsored this exciting event and made it all possible. They also thanked the organization’s board, coaches, and parents for their dedication and support for the kids.
