The future leaders of tomorrow are learning and honing their animal-husbandry skills, and members of the La Vernia FFA and area 4-H clubs exhibited the results of their efforts March 1-3 in the 55th annual La Vernia Junior Livestock & Poultry Show. When the tallies were calculated, this year’s sale total, according to Sarah Young of the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce, realized $310,000 -- an increase of more than $60,000 over last year. . . .
