FLORESVILLE -- While still a concept, with no formal approvals by the Floresville City Council, an upcoming public hearing called by the Floresville Economic Development Corp. (FEDC) will gauge public input on a proposal for the corporation to allocate $125,000 per year for 20 years toward construction of an outdoor sports complex on the grounds of the Lauro G. De Leon III Floresville Event Center. . . .

Yeah, what about the FEDC's committment to FISD and ACCD? That was $300,000 that they committed to them and NONE of it has been paid. Therefore, ACCD is not offering classes here to the community because that has not been paid. ... More ›

Was there a resolution to pay FISD 100k a year for 3 years for some continuing education? How can you commit to a complex with no formal or final plans ? Closed session ? was it on the agenda,, $4000 an acre ? Is any of this legal ?
