Yeah, what about the FEDC's committment to FISD and ACCD? That was $300,000 that they committed to them and NONE of it has been paid. Therefore, ACCD is not offering classes here to the community because that has not been paid.

Way to look out for the betterment of our community through education, FEDC. That is something much more important than a stupid sports complex. Education can and will take you further than sports--isn't that something we teach our youth? Education is important, I guess not to those that sit on the FEDC board or the Col.

Sometimes it's the little things.. But how can the attorney for the FEDC file something on their behalf and not notify them or contact the guy in charge and notify him that something needs to be filed so as to make the county and city aligned, did the Director just lie to a citizen asking a question... THE ATTORNEY DOING THE FILING WOULD HAVE A RECORD OF ANY CONVERSATION AND AT WHOSE BEHEST HE DID THE FILING, OR WHO HE SPOKE TO WHEN HE FILED THE PAPERWORK...just saying....

Jim, Over a year and a half ago a complaint was heard by the district attorney abouy the FEDC's closed meeting violations and complaintant was told that Mr. Perez and the edc board would be required to watch a video on Robert's Rules so that this type of problem never happend again. I do not believe this video ever was watched. The Kernel does what he wants to do, and has a board of puppets that follow and are too stupid to question his authority.

Jim it seems you are carrying the water for the community, thanks for your civic duty and efforts. If the local d.a. doesn't act can you go to the state...ONE VOICE it seems you know a little about the federal side of things, maybe you could call the appropriate overseers and see if they need to intervene. By the way Daniel Tejada's facebook has some comments regarding running for county office. He also seems very chummy with Rep. Cuellar.... Maybe some folks have some vested interests we do not know about.... Keep up the due diligence folks....

We need the Feds - now. This council needs to be put under a mircroscope. Business and personal.

Oh, by the way - the 990 needs to be looked at for this 4-A and 4-B. Have they filed? The TIF needs to get looked at - is it still funded? The zero bond money needs to get looked at- what are doing with that money?? The retirement fund needs to get looked at - has that been tapped into?? .... Where did they get the money for the 5 million dollar goof up.????
Will one of lawyers in this town get off their duffs and take care of business??
Citizens don't care about all the little secrets you have on one another - so, get busy!!

As a result of this article and the legal notice in today's San Antonio Express News complaints have been filed with the Texas Attorney General, the 81st District Attorney, and the Wilson County Attorney for blatant violations of the Texas Open Meetings Act as well as the Tax Laws that govern the Floresville Economic Development Corporation!!

The first complaint was filed yesterday at 1:38 p.m. and there has been no response from the District Attorney or the County Attorney. The Texas Attorney General provided a generic response that stated the District Attorney and County Attorney have the jurisdiction to prosecute violations of the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Was there a resolution to pay FISD 100k a year for 3 years for some continuing education? How can you commit to a complex with no formal or final plans ? Closed session ? was it on the agenda,, $4000 an acre ? Is any of this legal ?
