Steve and Janice Kotara are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Christine, to Nathan Clark Skinner, the son of Noel and Kathy Skinner of Texas City, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Wahne and the late Ferdinand Wahne, and Alphonse and Eleanor Kotara.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Jimmy and Norma Spann, and the late Paul and Irene Skinner.

Emily is a graduate of Poth High School. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is currently employed at a rehabilitation center in Clear Lake.

Nate, a graduate of Texas City High School, received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Texas A&M University, and is currently a coach for the Texas City school district in Texas City.

The couple will wed in July 2012 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth, Texas.
