ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Steve and Janice Kotara are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Christine, to Nathan Clark Skinner, the son of Noel and Kathy Skinner of Texas City, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Wahne and the late Ferdinand Wahne, and Alphonse and Eleanor Kotara.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Jimmy and Norma Spann, and the late Paul and Irene Skinner.

Emily is a graduate of Poth High School. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is currently employed at a rehabilitation center in Clear Lake.

Nate, a graduate of Texas City High School, received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Texas A&M University, and is currently a coach for the Texas City school district in Texas City.

The couple will wed in July 2012 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth, Texas.
