Robert Oran “Bunky” Bellinger Jr., 82, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Robert was born Dec. 26, 1929, the son of Ruby (Tom) and Robert Bellinger Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Billie (Hubbard) Bellinger.

Robert is survived by his children, Terri Walker and husband Rodney of La Vernia, Robin Moore and husband Eddie of Marion, Jimmy Bellinger of La Vernia, and Gary Wayne Bellinger of La Vernia; his grandchildren, Tim, Brandon, Nicholle, Cory, and Jordon Bellinger; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Diane Stitch of San Antonio.

Visitation took place Friday, April 13, from 5-9 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment followed in the Concrete Cemetery near La Vernia, in Guadalupe County.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
