The first-ever “Forget Me Not” Benefit Team Roping will be held Saturday, May 5, in the Pleasanton City Arena in Pleasanton.

The family of Ester Longoria Ramirez is establishing a benefit fund-raiser to generate money to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association. It is the family’s hope to grow the fund-raiser and make it an annual event so they can help fuel research and improve lives.

Other activities to be held that day include a silent auction, concession stand, and a calf scramble.
