ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Johnny Jimenez, 53, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was born July 5, 1958, in Nixon, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Cruz Casarez Jr.

Johnny is survived by his parents, Frank and Sabina (Regalado) Jimenez Sr.; Delma Hernandez; his brothers, Frank Jimenez Jr. and wife Janie, Jacob Jimenez and wife Danell, and Israel Jimenez and wife Janie; his sisters, Mary Casarez, Minerva Casarez and husband Panfilo, Elva Davila and husband Tomas, and Rachael Berry.

Visitation took place Friday, April 20, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Stockdale, with the Rev. Manuel Lerma officiating.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Texas, Attn: Development, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212.
