For the second year in a row, Stockdale Brahma Jordan Jackson has qualified for the State Tennis Tournament, set for Monday, April 30, and Tuesday, May 1, at the University of Texas at Austin.

Stockdale participated in the Regional Tennis Tournament April 18-19 at Texas State University. In boys singles, Jackson ran through the first three opponents in straight sets. In the finals, he and his opponent split sets. As the third set started, Jackson had to retire due to medical issues. He placed second at the tournament, which qualified him for state.

Landon Coston and Kelson Alderman played boys doubles. They won their first round and advanced to the second round, losing a well-played match.

Lauryn Coston and Jessica Puente played hard, but fell short in the first round.

All players were great representatives of Stockdale tennis.
