The 81st Judicial District Attorney’s office is seeking candidates for the position of an Administrative Assistant. Duties will include but not limited to: answering incoming calls and greeting visitors, prepare discovery for defense bar as required, providing administrative and clerical support to the ADAs and District Attorney, assist in general office work and perform related duties as follows: Operate a multi-line telephone switchboard, proficient use of software applications and computer equipment, scanning and compiling files for eDiscovery, filing and creating court files, generating reports as required. Applicants must have at least five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. SAN ANTONIO -- A pair of Floresville seniors, along with two seniors from East Central, have been selected to play in the 2012 River City Hoop Scoop/B.T.L. Sports All-Star games.

Shaun Cherry of East Central and Erica “Goose” Hernandez and Brittany Aikens of Floresville will help represent the East team during this year’s girls all-star game. In addition, Floresville Head Coach Greg McWilliams has been selected to coach the East girls team, along with his Jaguar staff.

Representing East Central High School on the boys all-star East squad is John Baker.

The River City Hoop Scoop and B.T.L. Sports All-Star games will be held Saturday, May 5, at St. Mary’s University. The girls will play at 3:15 p.m., with the boys game to follow at 5:15 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for students with college or high school ID.
