FFA and 4-H members from La Vernia and Marion finished in the top 10 of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo March 8-9. Bryan Garcia of the La Vernia FFA placed ninth in the heavyweight, medium-wool division in the Houston Show. Clayton Alvarado of the Marion FFA placed eighth in the Class 3 heavy weight, market goat division.

Other South Texas exhibitors joining them in the winners’ circle were
