SAN ANTONIO -- Three Hermann Sons fraternal insurance agents representing the Wilson County area are among the 34 agents who have qualified for recognition based on their performance in 2011.
Grand Vice President-Marketing Buddy Preuss, FIC, Order of the Sons of Hermann in the State of Texas has announced that Sharon Tanneberger, FIC, and Elizabeth Cutsinger have qualified for the Grand President’s Club. Roxy Pruski was recognized with the Last Agent Standing Award.
Tanneberger has qualified for the Grand President’s Club, one of the three clubs for which agents may qualify based on premium income generated and applications written during a calendar year. Tanneberger, who qualified for club membership for the sixth time, finished second in the state in volume of insurance written and in the top 10 in applications written and premium income generated. She was one of only three agents to finish in the top 10 in all production categories.
Tanneberger, a member of La Vernia Hermann Sons Lodge No. 180, also was recognized for earning the Quality Service Award from the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors. This award is presented to FICs who have been an agent for at least two years, written at least 25 applications, written at least $1 million worth of insurance, and maintained a persistency ratio of at least 90 percent.
Cutsinger also qualified for the Grand President’s Club. This is the first year Cutsinger, a member of Poth Hermann Sons Lodge No. 272, has qualified for club membership. She finished the year in the top 10 for premium income generated.
Pruski received the Last Agent Standing Award. Agents who receive this award have written at least one life insurance application or annuity contract each month during a calendar year. Pruski, a member of Mission-Alamo Hermann Sons Lodge No. 80, lives in Adkins.
The agents were recognized March 31 during the annual Agents’ Awards Banquet held at the Omni La Mansion Del Rio in San Antonio.
First-time Grand President’s Club qualifiers receive a plaque, blazer, and cash bonus. Those who qualify more than one year receive cash awards based on the amount of premium income generated.
