Bands invited to Cinco de Mayo event
Historic Market Square in San Antonio will host its largest-ever Cinco de Mayo Celebration Friday through Sunday, May 4-6, at 514 W. Commerce St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The musical program will feature Conjunto-style music, mariachis, and Ballet Folklorico groups. There is no charge to play at the festival. Groups should plan a one-hour program.
The family-oriented celebration is free.
