Stockdale Junior High Brahmas play in Wimberley

The Stockdale Junior High School tennis team participated in the Wimberley Junior High tennis tournament April 21.

Joel Marquez and Joshua Rangel participated in the first round of the main draw in seventh-grade boys singles, and then moved to the consolation division, where they eventually faced each other in the final. Marquez prevailed during the consolation final, and Rangel finished as the runner-up.

In the eighth-grade boys division, Travis Covington won the boys singles consolation division. Austin Akin and Samuel Scriven participated in the first round of the main draw in singles, and then participated in the first round of the consolation division.
