Owning and pursuing equine endeavors as a pastime is a very worthwhile experience. However, there is a great deal of knowledge and expertise that needs to be learned. To help local horse owners better manage their horses, the Texas AgriLife Extension Service offices in Wilson and Karnes counties are offering a program geared toward new horse owners. The program will be held Friday, May 11, at 3 p.m. in the Wilson County Show Barn located on S.H. 97 east of Floresville.  . . .
