Calling all area high school students: We want to see your prom pictures!

The Wilson County News is preparing a prom feature for an upcoming issue, to include photos from high school proms from East Central, Falls City, Floresville, La Vernia, Nixon-Smiley, Poth, and Stockdale. The submission deadline is Thursday, May 17, at 5 p.m.

A selection of pictures will appear in print, while all photos submitted will be featured in an online photo gallery.

Along with your photo, please tell us:

1. Who is in the photo?

2. What school hosted the prom?

3.What is your name and current grade in school?

Please also provide a telephone number -- which will not be published -- where you can be reached.

Photos can be sent via email to, with the subject: Prom 2012, or hand delivered to the Wilson County News offices at 1012 C St., Floresville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
