-- A National Disgrace

"In confidence in question of power let no more confidence be given to man but bind them to the chains of the Constitution." Thomas Jefferson. When Jefferson made this statement he was merely reinforcing his words in the Declaration of Independence, "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations , pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security". He was talking to us folks ... "We the People"! That would make it our duty to get rid of our current president and at least 80% of our congress, representatives and Senators alike. Folks like Henry Cuellar wouldn't have a prayer of being re-elected!

Prior to Obama's election, back in 2008, I wrote a blog on this site titled Are We Witnessing the Demise of an Empire?. It was meant as a historical reference as to how a free societies turned to socialism, fascism, and communism over the last several thousand years. History repeating itself, so to speak. I believe we have thus far witnessed a strong beginning to this process in action. The items I stated must be controlled by those in power were the armed forces, communications, religion, health care, education, the judicial system, labor, the industrial complex, and the financial system. Those are the main ones although there are other lesser ones.

I believe we can readily agree that the president and congress have complete control already. The military is run via political expedience, not its ability to win battles under their generals.

Communications: There has been, and is, an ever increasing call to eliminate Fox News and all conservative radio programs from the national airwaves. Presumably this is to "equal out' the extreme ultra liberal talk show hosts for 'fairness' purposes. Never once have the conservatives called to eliminate liberal programs from the air. Contrarily, conservatives invite the far left liberals to compete, if they can! And, to take without saying, the liberals already control the lame stream media and enjoy the participation by folks such as George Soros and Ariana Huffington.

Religion: No 'under God' in our pledge of allegiance, no crosses on public property revering the sacrifices of our veterans, and on and on.

Health Care: The Affordable Care Act ... ObamaCare. Need I say more.

Education: Our schools already teach 'revised' history, great fiction books have been removed from the school libraries, sex is taught in the elementary classrooms, and on and on.

The judicial system: We have judges making law at the bench. Our Supreme Court is almost totally predictable. We know that all the liberals (4) on the Supreme Court are going to vote their ideology. The only folks in question are Judge Kennedy, who can rule either way on ObamaCare, and the four remaining Constitutional judges who are Thomas, Alito, Roberts, and Scalia. That's a shame in itself. The Constitution requires that all judges rule on the intent of the Constitution even if the ruling goes totally against their personal belief system. It (the Constitution) allows for impeachment of any judge(s) who consistently fail(s) the test.

Labor: Union workers are pitifully being 'used' for the political purpose of re-electing corrupt politicians. Union bosses are donating millions of dollars to politicians who give them tremendous power, regardless of whether or not their workers agree with the use of their dues. Union membership has declined to its lowest percentage of the workforce in decades. In order to spur union membership, congress is now offering up bills to speed up the unionization process in order to make the union bosses even more powerful and richer. I've got news for the union bosses. In every socialist or communist state ever formed, private unions have been abolished and replaced by government unions. It's coming. Watch for it. Again, history will repeat itself perfectly.

The industrial complex: We've already watched as the government took over AIG, Chrysler, General Motors, etc. In the case of General Motors, our president used your taxpayer money to 'give' the United Auto Workers major ownership of the company. They get to keep their wages and expensive benefit packages. The government touts their success in 'coming back'. Then why is it, since 2008, for the first time in history non-union Toyota took over the prize of becoming the largest manufacturer and seller of cars and trucks in the world? Not to mention the fact the GM paid you back $6B on their loan using an escrow account set up by your money! Sounds like they've turned profitable to me! How about you?

The financial system: I'll shorten this as much as possible. Congress required banks to lend to folks who did not have enough collateral or income to purchase homes they could not pay for. Then Congress demanded that banks follow 80,000 regulations put in place to operate profitable ... which became impossible. They did not allow banks to charge for additional credit card fees they desperately needed to remain solvent under federal law. Then, Congress recently told banks that they had to 'forgive' part of the principal foreclosed folks could not pay in order to lower their monthly payments. Not to mention the tremendous amount of dollars the Fed has printed in order to buy our debt bonds and keep inflation from flaring up. This action diluted the value of the dollar even further since the money was printed with no backup to support the monetary influx. This, in itself, ensures the soon coming financial collapse of the entire country! Welcome to Greece!

In conclusion, if you vote for Obama and his groupies this next election, you obviously want the above to go full blown. You ain't seen nothin' yet! Unlike most of you all, I have lived and worked in socialist countries over most of my career. And, I can tell you right now, you apparently (obviously) don't have one damn clue as to what you're asking for by being forced to live under full-blown socialism! And, there is no return to capitalism without a bloody revolution. President Nicholas Sarkozy of France is now in a hard battle to retain his job. He implemented policies in order to get France back to a more capitalistic, free enterprise society in the future. He is now losing in the polls to a far left socialist. There has never been a time in history that a socialistic nation has returned to capitalistic, individualism. Why? Fear and greed.

Remember, there is no partisanship in socialism. If you are a far left middle class liberal currently bent on re-electing Obama or a far right conservative, you will both suffer the same fate ... serfdom to the government ruling elite! The only difference between the two partisans is that the conservative already knows and understands this.

Substitute teaching.....There would be little need for substitute teaching if teachers were treated as self employed .....No work, no pay. That would cut down on taking the day off for minor issues such as a sprained eyelash....LOL
