CANDIDATES' FORUM: Randall Paul Richter, Republican
■ Commissioner, Pct. 3
I am Randall Paul Richter, Republican candidate for Wilson County Commissioner for Precinct 3. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985 with a degree in animal science. I worked for United States Gypsum Co. (USG) as a contractor specialty representative for 20-1/2 years, and during my career I worked with manufacturing, marketing, and research and operated efficiently under an annual budget.
I am currently ranching, raising cattle, and irrigating coastal hay. I also operate a drywall texture business. I am a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia and also serve on the church council.
I am running for commissioner because I feel as a home and landowner and taxpayer, I am the most qualified candidate that can operate and manage a budget efficiently based on my personal and professional experience.
As your commissioner, I will make sure that the taxpayers’ money that is needed to operate Precinct 3 will be managed and spent efficiently so that the property-tax rate that is set by the commissioners and county judge will not be raised. I will maintain and strive to improve the road and bridge system in Precinct 3 and Wilson County.
