■ U.S. Congress, District 15

My name is Dale Brueggemann and I am running for the Republican nomination for the 15th Congressional District. I have been a small businessman and resident of Seguin for 30 years. I have been married to a lifelong resident of Seguin for 28 years and I have four children.

I have never sought office before. I have been a conservative, interested voter, but had no interest in holding office until about one year ago. I truly believe our country is changing for the worse. I see more families struggling and for many, the “American Dream” is becoming unobtainable. As a nation, we must control and reduce our federal debt and annual spending. We must reform our tax code, which is unfair to many. We must find ways to save Social Security for the long term, and we must have a sensible energy policy to reduce costs to the consumer.

If elected, I would demand a real budget and work for a balanced budget amendment. Cutting the redundancy, waste, and fraud would be one of my first initiatives while bringing common sense back to Washington. I would appreciate your support.
