POTH -- Police are asking for the public’s help in solving burglaries at two Poth schools. Nothing was stolen in the incidents, which occurred during the overnight hours of May 7-8, said Sgt. Troy Phillips of the Poth Police Department.

Phillips said someone broke windows and doors at Poth Elementary School on Brinkoeter Street, before entering the building. Blood was left behind. At Poth High School nearby, someone broke windows on the main school building, but was unable to enter. Windows on the school’s gymnasium, where the suspect entered and disturbed the con-tents of some cabinets, were broken.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call the Poth Police Department at 830-484-0281. Anonymous tips, which can lead to a cash reward, can be given to Crime Stoppers of Wilson County at 830-393-INFO (4636) or at www.wilsoncountycrimestoppers.com.
