1920-2012

Johnnie O. Norris, 91, of Seguin, Texas, and formerly of Leesville, died Friday, May 11, 2012. He was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Burkburnett, the son of John S. and Julia (Landry) Norris.

Johnnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and attended the Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Vera (Aaron) Norris.

He is survived by cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held Monday, May 14, from 4-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.

A funeral service was held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment followed in the Nixon Cemetery in Nixon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
